Thursday, August 16th - To Mammoth Cave, Kentucky

After stopping at Cracker Barrel for lunch, we drove the 90 miles to Cave City, Kentucky. I was running down to my last 10 gallons of diesel fuel so I stopped near Louisville and bought 20 gallons. I am aware that the Flying J in Franklin, Kentucky has diesel fuel at $2.62 so I am waiting for that stop to fill up.

The Singing Hills Campground was recently purchased by the new owners, Beth and Eldon. They are trying to build up a nice RV park. We wish them much luck in their efforts! MA and I used their swimming pool to escape the 100+ temps. It was very refreshing!

Eldon recommended the El Matzalan Mexican restaurant in Cave City. We tried it...pretty good!
