Wednesday, August 8th - Still at Newmar

I got to sleep last night around 9:30pm because I had to get up and drain the holding tanks before the tech came to get the coach at 6:00am. At 3:30am, I was awaken by a TREMENDOUS thunderstorm. I laid in bed and remembered that I had left the Jeep windows down about 3" on each door. The wind was howling. I put on MA's yellow rain slicker and headed out to roll up the Jeep windows. Got fairly soaked, anyway. But, I DID get back to sleep.

Got up and drained the tanks - the storm was over, thank God! Mark came promptly at 6am. We discussed yesterday's work and what was planned for today. Mark asked if I would drive to Elkhart, Indiana to get the two day/night shades restrung by the manufacturer. After breakfast, I drove the 23 miles and waited for the shades to be restrung. Then, a quick stop at Camping World in Elkhart and back to Newmar in Nappanee.
