Monday, August 29th - Carne Asada with Cousin Rita

I got to Wal*Mart early this morning to get the oil changed in the Jeep. I do the procedure every 5,000 miles, not the 7,500 that the manufacturer recommends. I also bought a radiator flushing kit and installed it in the Jeep's cooling system. It took me about 15 minutes to totally flush the cooling system into the sewer system here at the campsite.

Cousin Rita Dahle came from her home in Tunica for dinner here at our camp. It was great to get to visit with her, once again! I grilled Carne Asada, a thin skirt steak that we bought last month and frozen. MA sauteed onions and peppers, prepared Spanish rice and black beans. It was a really enjoyable dinner!
