The Battle in Lenexa!!!

Friday night, cousins Steve & Janet and their spouses, Louise and Bob, MA & I went to the The Great Lenexa BBQ Battle – The Kansas State Championship in Lenexa, Kansas. There were 185 teams and each team had their own hospitality tents. There were thousands of people there last night!

On Saturday, 240 judges have the hard task of identifying the best barbeque among seven different categories including; brisket, pork, ribs, sausage, chicken, whole animal and miscellaneous. It was an interesting and enjoyable evening. We came home totally exhausted!
